Autobiography of a Yogi

I just finished reading this book.

It's available for reading online at

It is a very difficult task to describe this book in a few easy sentences. Paramahansa Yogananda's life winds through some incredible experiences and hard-to-beleive stories [I beleive them :)].

PY was very gifted to meet some incredible people - notably Mahavatar Babaji and Sri Yuktewar. Since he was writing the book, he fails to say he was quite amazing himself :)

Since this book is available online, I am not summarizing anything here - but you might want to consider reading this if you are interested in any of the following:

- If you have a question on whether the Divine will respond to prayers or questions
- How to live a meaningful Life
- Are coincidences (read divine interventions) and synchronicities real?
- Are there any limits to Life? What exactly is possible in this span of our life?
- What is the purpose of Life?

Since the text version was so beautiful, I ordered the audio version of this book (narrated by Ben Kingsley). This book would probably be something I would come back to more than once.

Alchemist Eckhart...

I've read about many amazing people (and seen a few). What makes Eckhart stand apart is that he is still alive. I am currently "reading" his book "The Power of Now". I am not even half way through, and as yet, the transformative power of this book is discernable. Just listening to him speak transforms my inner state in a matter of minutes. He also has a very innocent laugh - you can easily mistake Him to be a child if his voice was not so hoarse.

Eckhart's website is

One more teacher to shape my Life :)
